Sibir signs Jokipakka for one-year

Sibir signed a one-season contract with defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka (08.20.1991, 190/90).

Jyrki started his career in Finland. In 2013 player became the Calder Cup champion as part of the Texas Stars.


In the 2014/15 he made his debut in the NHL for the Dallas Stars. In total, he played 150 games in the NHL and got 28 (3+25) points.


In 2017, he signed a contract with Sochi from the KHL, where he played 94 games in the regular seasons, gaining 47 (12+35) points.Also, he played 10 games in the Gagarin Cup with 4 (2+2) points.
