Anton Wedin joins Sibir!
Anton spent almost his entire career at Timrå IK: starting with the junior team in 2008, making his senior debut in 2011, he played until 2019.
In 2019, he signed a contract with the NHL team Chicago, but played most of the season in the AHL for the Rockford IceHogs farm club, gaining 17 points in 31 games (7 + 10). Anton made his NHL debut - four games for Chicago.
After spending a season in North America, the forward returned to Sweden for club HV71. In the last championship he had 44 games and 34 points (19 + 15). The season was not easy for Vedin's team - they went through three quarantines due to COVID-19.
Wedin also played three matches for Sweden at the Eurotour this season, in which he scored three points (1 + 2).
